About us

The East Yorkshire Rivers Trust was established in 2006 and has three main aims:

  1. To protect the important habitats of the River Hull and River Derwent by working with others to enhance the conservation status of these important river systems.
  2. To educate and assist in developing projects to achieve improvements in habitat.
  3. To support and fund scientific surveys on the streams to identify problem areas.

The Team - The Trust is run by a group of Trustees who are elected, but we rely heavily on the work and dedication of our wider network of members, project staff and volunteers

How we are governed – The Trust is a registered charity No. 1115043 and the Trust Articles and Memorandum of Association are the two documents which determine how we are governed.
